Upper Brookville

The village of Upper Brookville is located in the town of Oyster Bay on Long Island's North Shore. Neighbors include Old Brookville and Matinecock to the west, East Norwich and Oyster Bay to the East, Brookville and Muttontown to the south and Mill Neck to the north. The towns in this part of the island's North Shore including Oyster Bay Cove, Mill Neck, Cove Neck, Upper Brookville, Locust Valley and neighboring Matinecock make up its legendary Gold Coast. These established waterfront communities are affluent even by Long Island standards.

Upper Brookville retains a good measure of the historic luxury as well as the comfort of a bygone Gold Coast-era North Shore. Like its neighbors, this residential village is home to many mansions and sprawling estates on acres of well-tended lawn. It's an ideal home for those who appreciate the peace and privacy of country life while enjoying proximity to New York City. Upper Brookville is 29 miles from Manhattan about a 45 minute drive.

Upper Brookville is served by the Oyster Bay-East Norwich School District and the Locust Valley School District. Restaurants, shops and other services can be found a short drive away in nearby Greenvale and Hicksville. The 500-acre Planting Fields Arboretum historic park features the historic sixty-five-room Coe Hall as well as greenhouses, gardens and wooded paths. Two nearby horse farms provide stables and lessons, and residents can choose from a number of golf courses at several adjacent country clubs including the Mill River Club, the Brookville Country Club and Piping Rock Country Club.

Northern Boulevard runs through the village and the Long Island Expressway is nearby. The Long Island Railroad stops at Sea Cliff and Glen Head on the Oyster Bay line.
